As federal and state government, health care providers, public health agencies and other stakeholders continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, new information has been provided on vaccine distribution, proclamations and emergency orders.
FEDERAL PHE UPDATE
Acting HHS Secretary Norris Cochran has notified Governors that the Secretary’s public health emergency (PHE) declaration will likely remain in place for the remainder of 2021. When a decision is made to terminate the declaration or let it expire, HHS will provide states with 60 days’ notice prior to termination.
