Stephanie Collingwood Named Government & External Affairs Specialist for UnityPoint Health

The UnityPoint Health® Government & External Affairs Department is pleased to announce that Stephanie Collingwood has joined the team in the role of government & external affairs specialist.

Stephanie has more than 10 years’ experience in the health care field – the past seven years at UnityPoint Health. Most recently, Stephanie has worked closely with the Government & External Affairs Department in her former role as director of integration and optimization, and she will continue to support UnityPoint Health interim president & CEO Sue Thompson’s appointment as one of 17 Commissioners on the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), which advises Congress on Medicare reimbursement and related policies.

In her new role, Stephanie will focus efforts on provider relations and federal advocacy matters. Through former management of UnityPoint Health’s Clinical Leadership Group and Clinical Service Groups, Stephanie cultivated clinical and operational partnerships across the organization that will be key in advancing clinical advocacy work for UnityPoint Health.  Stephanie’s dedication to fostering unity, implementing transformative solutions and driving performance will be a valuable benefit as she continues to collaborate and advocate for UnityPoint Health in her new role.
